Torsten Westermayer
Torsten is an experienced coach, facilitator and organizational development consultant based in Vienna, Austria. He guides individuals and organisations through complexity and change, supporting them with methodological expertise, experience and integrity.
Torsten specializes in participatory approaches to large-scale organizational change. His focus is on supporting collective inquiry and giving a voice to those directly affected by change efforts. Working at the intersection of sensemaking, culture and narrative, Torsten offers clients the essential skills and methods to navigate the uncertainty and ambiguity of change.
Torsten’s work is guided by a fascination for the complex, entangled webs of meaning that shape individual and collective behaviour. What are the patterns of meaning that make organized action possible? How are these meanings negotiated, codified and contested? Exploring these questions with clients points to the deeper layers of change that make transformation possible.
Over the last 20 years Torsten has been a trusted advisor to organizations ranging from multinational corporations to start-ups and public administration. Clients value how he blends analytical and methodological rigour with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and intuitive sensing of what the ever-changing context requires.
Torsten holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth and is certified as Systemic Coach and Warm Data Lab Host. He is also a member of OD Network Europe.
